You can hire a single service, like a new website or an EDDM mailer, or connect several so every lead you earn gets answered fast.
How much does it cost?
It depends on which services and which steps of The Buttered System you need. You'll get exact pricing in writing before you commit to anything. The free website audit and the free tools cost nothing either way.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
Terms depend on the services you choose, and you'll see them in writing before you sign anything, so there are no surprises. Ask about contract length on your free call and you'll get a straight answer.
I've been burned by agencies before. Why would this be different?
You're right to be skeptical. That's exactly why we start with a free audit you keep, whether or not you hire us, so you can judge our thinking before you spend a dime. Once you're a client, we report on calls, leads and booked appointments, not vanity numbers.
What's the catch with the free audit?

What if I only need printing, or only a website?

Will AI make my business sound like a robot?
No. Your AI voice agent, chatbot and messages are trained on your business and written in your voice, and you approve the scripts before anything goes live. If a caller asks whether they're talking to AI, it tells the truth, and it can hand the call to a real person whenever you want.
Is automated texting and AI calling legal?
Yes, when it's done right. Texts and AI-voice calls require the right kind of consent, clear identification of your business and an easy way to opt out. The FCC confirmed in February 2024 that AI-generated voices count as "artificial" voices under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, so the same consent rules apply (FCC 24-17). Can the AI agent transfer a call to a person?
Yes. You decide which calls go straight to a person: emergencies, hot leads, existing clients, or anyone who asks. Everything else gets answered, qualified and booked, with a transcript and summary sent to you.

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google itself says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. What we can promise is honest work, clear reporting and a realistic forecast once we've looked at your site and your competitors.
What's the difference between SEO and AI search optimization?
SEO helps you rank in search results. AI search optimization, also called AIO or GEO, helps AI assistants like ChatGPT understand and recommend you. They share a foundation of technical health, clear answers, structured data, consistent listings and reviews, so we do both together.
Do I still need SEO if people use ChatGPT?

EDDM Retail postage is $0.26 per piece for USPS Marketing Mail flats, with 200 to 5,000 pieces per day per ZIP Code (USPS, as of October 2026).

Yes. Every piece we design can carry a QR code that points to a tracked page, so responses from business cards, flyers, door hangers and EDDM postcards flow into your follow-up system and show up in your reports.
