- Consent first. In February 2024 the FCC ruled that AI-generated voices are “artificial” voices under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (summary by Hunton Andrews Kurth). Outbound AI calls and marketing texts go only to people who've given the right consent, captured with separate, unchecked checkboxes.
- Clear identity. Your AI identifies your business and tells the truth if someone asks whether it's AI.
- Easy opt-out. STOP replies are processed automatically, and other reasonable opt-out requests are honored promptly.
- Quiet hours. Our default sends marketing texts and AI calls only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the recipient's time zone, inside the federal 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. window (47 CFR 64.1200). Some states set stricter hours or days, and your schedule should follow them.
